Meet me in the Bottoms - Trailer from Bradly Dever Treadaway on Vimeo.

Meet Me in the Bottoms is an installation and performance realized at the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center curated by Meredith Dean that addresses dismantled hierarchies through the lens of the architecture of theatre space, the propagandic employment of sound and the socio-political implications associated with the shoeshine trade. The work revolves around a social pact formed by shoe shiners, the concept of putting our best things away awaiting deliverance, the subversion of sound as background and the elevation of the viewer.

The project is realized in collaboration with: Bradly Dever Treadaway, Jason R. Thompson and Stefanie Nelson

Other fundamental collaborators were:
The Erison Dancers: Erica Perkins Wilson, Faby Torralba, Karen Becerril, Danielle Dean, and Breean Ashley
